We have a natural cedar shingled home, we previously used a Timer-Pro water based stain and wanted to use the same this time around. Timber-Pro gave me Mr. Posten as a recommended contractor. I could not have been happier with the finished job. Our home looks better now than ever. Great job Angelique and Kevin, see you again in a few years for a repeat performance.

I’ve used Posten painting for two jobs, one outside and one inside and I recommend them highly. They listen carefully to what is wanted and provide a detailed bid. Good color suggestions were made and accepted. Scheduling was very accommodating and the crew respected our time and our home. The work was done very professionally, very precise. Inside corners, such as at the ceiling were very uniformly done very well and I’m very particular when it comes to details. They work quickly and get the job done when promised. I’ve been very pleased with the work done by Posten Painting and would highly recommend them to any of my friends or customers. We called Posten painting in a pinch to fix errors made by another contractor. They came to the rescue swiftly and offered excellent advice as to how to create the aesthetic that we desired. Their cut-ins (where two different-colored surfaces meet) were excellent and we were very happy with the final product. Kevin and Angelique Posten run an awesome shop. We’ve used their services twice now after an initial recommendation by one of our family friends, most recently having the entire house painted. Total turnaround time from the initial quote meeting to a completed job was astoundingly fast. Follow-up after work completion to insure we were happy was excellent. One small area of over-spray we reported after painting was completed was fixed promptly and without complaint. i couldn’t ask for a better painting cotractor and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who askes me for a painter. The company is super reliable, courteous, and finished in less time than expected. The owner himself is completely involved in the process and is often painting along side his crew. Great company!
Prepped and painted 20,000 Sq. Ft. commercial office building…Beaverton – July 2008
Posten Painting was among five bidders that estimated the cost of the repainting of this large project. Kevin Posten came out – dressed very professionally in his company logo’d painting attire. He spent time measuring and talking over the job with me. he seemed very knowledgeable about paints and painting. We decided on two coats of quality exterior paint. His bid was one of the lowest of five. After acceptance, his painters showed up on time and power washed and prepped the building. (The prep needed was rather minimal.) It took about 4-5 painters two full days to complete the work. They carefully masked off everything that needed masking. They carefully painted around letters of the tenant’s signage on the building. There was no “accidents” or “trouble” on the job. Kevin supervised it closely. There were no add-ons or surprises when it came to paying the bill. And practically every tenant in the building commented on how they liked the job! And was very happy with the job Posten painting had done. JC

As I told Kevin today – we love the house and the way it looks. Overall, I thought the crew did a GREAT JOB! One thing my husband commented on when I showed him the final bill tonight is that he really appreciated these were nice ‘kids.’ I personally felt so safe with them. I opened our side garage door so they could come and go to use the downstairs bathroom and had them help themselves to the water in the garage refridgerator. They had the code to the garage, too, which I was totally fine with. Josh, Brian and Leah were all great! Hard workers and very nice.

Our choice began way back when you walked around and checked out the house about the job. Our conversations were informative and you did not complain or comment on other professionals’ jobs. You spent enough time in explaining things to me and I felt you took enough time to be sure I understood.
When the time came to paint the house and we all got effected by the weather, you were concerned about not only the reputation of your company, but me and Patti too. You told us to keep the faith and that we would have our house painted for sure. You made us feel special with all your concern and attention!
Working with your staff . . . and what a nice staff it is too. They were constantly in motion and a great group to work with. Unlike other contractors and their staff, your staff was very polite, concerned about their presence, and a fun and delightful group to have around. They made the job a pleasant experience.

The house was pressure washed and then a few days later after allowing the house to dry, a team showed up and caulked all the windows and doors, then masked all the windows and covered my deck and spa and all the shrubs. Then they sprayed on the stain and brushed it in. 3 coats in all, following that, they painted the trim 2 coats. They cleaned up the mess and left.
The whole job came off without a hitch, a total of four days to do the painting, plus one day to pressure wash. The team of painters were very professional. I’d also like to say Kevin’s wife (Angelique) was a huge help, in helping me with the colors scheme and reassuring me about my decisions I made, now the house looks great. Barry R.
