Whether you have new cedar shakes or need your old wood siding stripped and stained due to fade, blackness, uneven shading, etc., Posten Painting, Inc. can get this done for you!  We use environmentally friendly Timber Pro UV products.  First we use their Strip & Brite to strip off old stain or to get the grey out of new wood and then brighten the siding.  For new siding that isn’t grey we only need to use their Clean & Brite.  Next we spray and brush in their Log & Siding formula (two coats) plus a coat of their Clear to maximize the protection of the wood.  We have used a lot of different products and have been happiest with the results achieved from using Timber Pro UV, most applications lasting five or more years depending on the amount of sun the siding receives.  Annual cleaning should still be done using Timber Pro UV’s Clean & Brite.  When you notice the Clear disappearing, simply use the Clean & Brite and apply another coat of Clear as long as the integrity of the color has not been compromised.  You can look them up at www.timberprocoatings.com.   When you need to have your siding cleaned, stripped, and/or stained give Posten Painting, Inc. a call at (503) 654-7161 for a free estimate.
